What are Combined Standpipes?

 

This arrangement combines pipe/sprinkler system delivery for both the sprinkler and the Standpipe System
it Combined the Fire Sprinklers System and the Fire Hoses Standpipe System with one Water delivery Source 
The Fire Sprinkler is Automatic activated with fire situation and 2 1/2″ Hose Valves available on each floor for Fire Department Use 
 

 

How often do they need to be tested according to Reg 4 requirements?

 

Every 5 Years
